What Are Crosshair Symbols?
Crosshair symbols are Unicode characters that look like the aiming reticle of a scope or a target marker. The best known is ⌖ (U+2316, Position Indicator), which was added to Unicode for technical drawings but is now used mostly as a sniper sight in gaming names. Others come from maths and geometry: ⊕ (U+2295, Circled Plus), ⊹ (U+22B9) and ⨁ all look like a target with a cross in the middle. The emoji 🎯 (Direct Hit) is the colourful version, showing an arrow in the bullseye.
Because they are plain text, crosshairs take the colour of your font and can be pasted anywhere you can type: game nicknames, clan tags, Discord names, YouTube titles and stream overlays.

Crosshair Name Ideas for Gamers
⌖ ѕηιρєя ⌖– a classic sniper tag︻╦╤─ ⌖ Headshot– rifle plus reticle⊹ AIM ⊹ GOD ⊹– compact clan style🎯 Target Locked– colourful version for bios and stream titles【⌖】Name– crosshair inside Japanese brackets
Tip: keep the crosshair at the start or end of the name so players can still read it in the kill feed. Free Fire, PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile charge in-game currency or a rename card to change your name, so paste your design into the name box and check the preview before you confirm. If a symbol shows as an empty box, that game’s font does not include it; ⌖ and ⊕ are among the safest choices.
